Works great, have been using for 1 year

Wanted to come back after I've had 1 year with the unit. To start off I have a very very large adult cat who just fits Into the litter box and absolutely loves it. The box has worked reliably for a little over a year now, does a fantastic job of containing odors. As soon as it gets a little too full and the waste is holding the trap door open just a little bit, I can immediately smell what the Furry tail Pro is so effectively containing, so I have been entirely impressed with this litter box's ability to contain the stink my cat is constantly producing. The unit is also very quiet when cycling with the motor being a low hum and the loudest noise being the slow sifting and rolling of the litter in the drum The design of the unit is great combining the waste inside the drum allows for a huge space for the cat in the side and as small of a footprint as possible while also eliminating potential entrapment points that other litter robots might suffer from where the drum mechanism has to interface with a trash area in in the base as opposed to the drum. Even with it being a mechanically safe design, it has a very sensitive movement sensor. So if the cat is curious and messing with it while I was trying to move it will just stop and wait a few seconds. Using the litter box to track my cat's weight is also a wonderful benefit. Wanted to share a little pro tip that if you have a robot vacuum on the same floor, it's a great idea to schedule it to come by the litter box in vacuum mode every few hours and keep picking up any of the litter. The cat is going to inevitably track out. I'm currently running the clumping cat litter I get from Costco, but have run a variety of clumping clay litters and had success. Urine leaks can be an issue with other automatic litter boxes, but I've experienced none with this one, and I'm also impressed with the design choices and how easy it is to detach the drum carry it outside and hose it out once every 6 months. There is even the thoughtful addition of a small silicone plug in the back of the drum that can be popped out during washing to let water drain out. Once the drum is removed all the electronics and sensors are back on the base so I don't have to worry about sensors being embedded like you would on a litter robot 3 or 4. Haven't had any errors or trouble codes. This design, nails price, performance and safety, A truly impressive and well thought out effort. App can be mildly clunky, but is entirely functional. I run a 35 minutes after deposit cleaning cycle to let the litter set up and clump.
